Obon

National holiday week coming up in Japan, and I have five days off. I'll be checking out two of the southern islands, Tanegashima (種子島) and Yakushima (屋久島) - might even try a little surfing if it's not too crowded. Peace and love. Will report when I get back, including my probable hitchhiking experience.
